March 23, 2020
Together, we are facing an incomparable situation as the global corona virus pandemic is affecting our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Caribbean Pools and Landscape and our commitment to our customers.
Yesterday, Gov. John Bel Edwards issued a statewide Stay at Home order that goes into effect at 5 p.m. Monday, March 23, to further fight the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana, as the number of confirmed cases have topped 800 and spread to more than half of our parishes. Edwards listed as essential health care workers, staffers in groceries, pharmacies, take-out restaurants and banks. Those working for utilities, refineries, oilfield production, construction and communications also should report to work.
As a construction company, our intentions at this point are to move forward on all projects unless ordered to temporarily suspend operations. Since we are not working inside the homes of our customers, we will continue with minimum contact, while requiring proper social distancing. We ask homeowners to communicate concerns to your Project Manager as we all navigate through this tough time with proper care and hopeful optimism.
Last but certainly not least, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we're truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Sincerely,
Don Hart
